Zhejiang Jiahua Pig Breeding Co., Ltd. was founded in 1953.It is one of the national key original breeding farm and the resources protectorate of local breed (Jinhua pig). Also it was one of the units of Canada-China lean pig project, it was chosen as “the best enterprise of the livestock or poultry in china”, “the excellent enterprise of raising pigs in china” and “the excellent leader enterprise of agriculture” etc.

    Now our company has 47 professionals among which over 38 people have educational background above junior college and 20 people have Intermediate or high professional title. Our company has invited the famous Genetic Breeding experts Fu Yan, Xu Ningying and Feed management experts Ji Sunrui,Wang Songjunas our Chief Technology Officers. Furthermore, we have established hi-tech Research &Development Center of Boar Genetic Breeding and institution of Jinhua pigs.

    Company has created tow famous pig brand " Jianyou " and " Jiahua. Moreover, Yorkshire and Jinhua pigs have been chose as Zhejiang Provincial high-quality agricultural product gold medal, Leading brand products in Zhejiang province and Chinese international agricultural fair. In the boar testing organized by Zheiiang Boar Testing Center, the Yorkshire boars selected by our farm have been awarded the champion of comprehensive index six times one after another.

    Our company started to implement the moving project in 2002 and the new farm had finished in May 2004. Our farm located in the foot of the south Mountain with 700-acre earth and about 85 million investment. There will have 3100 sows, 700 sows including Yorkshire; Duroc and Landrace pure breeding in Yorkshire partfarm; 2000 sows in two F1 multiplied part farm; and 400 Jinhua sows in Jinhua part farm respectively. In one year will provide more than 30,000 good finished pigs and more than 30,000 healthy pig breeding including Canadian Yorkshire, Landrace, Duroc, LxY and Jinhua pig.

    The necessary accessories of our new farm have very well equipped: for example, the auto tested system from Osborne industries in USA, the feed manufacturing company which can provide 10,000 tons feed in single shift every year, the premix feed manufacturing which can provide 5,000 tons per year the center of effluent disposal which can handle 300 tons in a day and the organic fertilizer company which can provide 10,000 tons in single shift in 365 days. And we have several scientific research institutions such as “ the researchcenter of high-tech breeding pig genetic and breeding ”, “the research institute of Jinghua pig”, etc.
