    The main characteristics of Jinhua pigs: High-quality meat, Scarlet muscle, strong Water holding capacity, abundant in sarcous fat with a tender sweet taste; thin skin and bone, small head and limb, low proportion of skin and bone in carcass, more eatable parts; high reproductive capacity, average litter size can reach above 14 herds. Long year ranges of reproductive, fine sow’s reproductive performance can last 8-9 years, producing about 20 herds of piglets. The sow has many nipples with high milk yield and growth rate of litters. Early sexual maturity, oestrum of gilt is in 70-80 days of age, reaching the sexual maturity in 105 days of age. Age at first mating is in 6 months. Good adaptability, resistance to cold and heat, all-weather pigs suited for breeding in most areas of our country .It is also popular in the market of Japan, France, Canada, Thailand, etc.
